Phillips Ranch property has more than 100 acres of open space, top-notch amenities, playgrounds, trails, lakes, and a vast stream system. Communities flourish when the setting and architecture encourage continuous development within close proximity to home. The goal of Phillips Creek Ranch was to create a community where neighbors could engage in everyday activities and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

What to love?

A dive into a brief history

The 640-acre Phillips Creek Ranch is situated on the site of the historically well-known Phillips Ranch, which was founded in 1936 by B.F. Phillips Sr. The ranch eventually expanded to a size of more than 1,800 acres, extending from the east shore of Lake Lewisville to a mile east of FM 423. As a breeder and trainer of quarter horses, Phillips established his reputation. His prized sorrel stallion, Dash for Cash, was the only animal to win the coveted “Champion of Champions” not once, but twice. National and international politicians, Hollywood celebrities, sports people, and media figures have all entered “The Big House,” the family’s primary ranch house. Where “The Big House” previously stood, the Vista Park Welcome Center now occupies the location. The ranch also served as the venue for a number of prestigious fundraisers and social gatherings. In the late 1990s, the Phillips family sold the property.

Amenities

With over 100 acres of natural space, lakes, parks, a vast network of creeks, and a community bike-sharing program, Phillips Creek Ranch attracts families with its 18+ miles of paved, view-filled hike and bike paths. Additionally, residents can take advantage of facilities like a 2,020 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center, a junior Olympic lap pool, a children’s beach entry pool, and more. Residents can congregate and meet their neighbors at frequent concerts, activities, and movie evenings held on the community lawn and outdoor pavilion. The same is true of the brand-new Texas Backyard, which has a fire pit, barbecues, patio swings, a sand volleyball court, a bocce ball court, horseshoe pits, and a bocce ball court.

Trails and Parks

Nearly 18 miles of planned trails and parks are available at Phillips Creek Ranch, offering opportunities for family, community, and health. Additionally, it conserves 150 million gallons of water a year by irrigating all common areas and open spaces with reclaimed water from the City of Frisco. It’s a terrific opportunity to get some fresh air, stretch your legs, and look for a better way of living.

Pool

From May to October, two pool complexes are available at Phillips Creek Ranch. While the Riverton neighborhood has a resort-style pool and splash pad, the Vista Park amenity center has a junior Olympic-sized pool and a leisure pool with beach access. Throughout the Spring and Summer, activities for the whole family are held, including dive-in movies, themed swim parties, and swim lessons. All residents’ HOA dues cover access to the pool in its entirety.

Events

To establish a sense of community that goes beyond simple proximity, Phillips Creek Ranch was created. Residents interact with one another while they live, play, and raise their families, creating a sense of community that goes beyond a simple street address. We have your lifestyle in mind when planning everything from local block parties to outdoor movie nights to concerts at the pavilion.

Artwork

In honor of the original B.F. Phillips quarter-horse ranch, Phillips Creek Ranch has installed 25 life-size bronze horse statues throughout the neighborhood. These sculptures are surrounded by native Texas reeds and grasses. Each sculpture weighs more than 1,000 pounds and makes up 13% of Frisco’s outdoor sculptures. It was completed by a Dallas-based artist.

Fitness

The 2,020 square foot, cutting-edge fitness center at Phillips Creek Ranch has two locations: Vista Park, which may be used for aerobic exercises, weight training, and exercise courses, and Cascades Park, which hosts group yoga, pilates, and boot camp programs. Additionally, it has miles of well-lit, scenic hike and bike trails for family outings and outdoor jogs, as well as a community bike sharing program.

Schools

We consider education to be a crucial component of a prosperous community. One of the districts in the state with the highest growth is the highly regarded Frisco Independent School District, which includes Phillips Creek Ranch. The district’s focus on providing the best learning experiences for kids and its dedication to excellence both develop along with the school system’s size. Test results are significantly higher than the country’s averages and are still improving. Children have the option to walk or ride bikes to school because there are currently four elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school on the property or close by the community.
